November 29, 2017 – Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of Swets Information Services, Inc. Bankruptcy Estate (Swets) in November 2017. On November 21, 2014, Swets filed a voluntary petition under chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey, assigned Case No. 14-33744. Thereafter, a trustee was appointed to liquidate the remaining assets of the estate.

Founded in 1901, Swets was an international content management company servicing libraries and publishers. At its peak, the company operated in 23 countries, employed over 570 people, and had over 8,000 global customers, representing 800,000 subscriptions.

The former headquarters of Swets was located in Runnemede, NJ. The company also had a corporate address in Exton, PA.
