September 10, 2018 – Oak Point Partners acquired the remnant assets of Joseph Walker & Company, Inc. Bankruptcy Estate (Joseph Walker) in October 2018. On March 18, 2010, Joseph Walker filed a voluntary petition under chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of South Carolina, assigned Case No. 10-01948. Thereafter, a trustee was appointed to liquidate the remaining assets of the estate.
